Educational Programs

ABCmouse is the leading and most comprehensive online learning program for children ages 2 through 8+ and is designed to help prepare children for kindergarten and ensure 3rd grade readiness. ABCmouse offers a research-validated curriculum with more than 10,000 learning activities encompassing all key academic subject areas, including literacy, math, science, health, and social studies. To date, more than 18 million children worldwide have completed over 4 billion learning activities on ABCmouse.
ReadingIQ is an advanced digital library for children 12 and under with thousands of high-quality books, all curated by experts to advance literacy. This digital library provides the very best of children’s literature, including Caldecott and Newbery award winners, National Geographic Kids books, and thousands of additional fiction and nonfiction books from leading publishers. The entire ReadingIQ library is easily searchable by topic and leveled with both the Guided Reading and Lexile® systems so that children can find titles that match their interests and reading ability.
Mastering Math is an innovative, game-based adaptive early learning app that helps preschool through 2nd grade children build a strong understanding of the most fundamental math concepts. The app uses appealing characters and personalized learning pathways to help children achieve mastery through practice. The app actively adapts in real time to a child’s existing knowledge, filling in gaps in understanding and teaching new material as the child demonstrates she is ready for more advanced learning activities.
We do provide engaging educational content that is available offline. There are six ABCmouse apps that offer downloadable ABCmouse content for offline use: Music Videos, Zoo, Science, Mathematics, and Language Arts. Organized by academic subject (language arts, mathematics, and science) and activity type, these apps help children quickly discover and access hundreds of learning activities from the ABCmouse curriculum when Wi-Fi or mobile Internet access is unavailable.
ABCmouse and ReadingIQ have substantial amounts of content in Spanish, and Mastering Math is fully available in both English and Spanish.
A growing body of research, including multiple randomized controlled trials, shows that ABCmouse and Mastering Math accelerate learning and help children make significant gains in early literacy and math skills. Researchers have completed several large-scale research studies with a total of more than 10,000 children globally.

Bring Learning to All Deployments

Children ages 2 through 12 can benefit from BL2A deployments. Older students who require a comprehensive review of foundational topics and the opportunity to fill in gaps from earlier grades can also benefit. Here’s a breakdown of the age ranges our programs serve:
  • ABCmouse: 2–8+
  • ReadingIQ: 2–12+
  • Mastering Math: 3–8+
We provide implementation support and training, including educator professional development, family workshops, ongoing monitoring of usage, and follow up outreach.
We have worked with schools, libraries, community centers, and laundromats in the United States and globally to implement BL2A. Visit our case studies and map to learn more about these partnerships and their impact.
We provide a home checkout system for public libraries, which allows patrons to check out our educational programs from their library to use at home at no cost. We also offer supplemental technology kits that include tablets with mobile broadband for families who do not have these resources at home.
We provide enterprise versions of our educational programs to schools. Teachers and administrators have access to real-time, ongoing data about progress and usage at the district, school, class, and student level. Families also get full access to these programs at home, which helps strengthen the school-home connection.
We provide a home checkout system for community centers, which allows students to check out our educational programs from their community center to use at home at no cost. We also offer supplemental technology kits that include tablets with mobile broadband for families who do not have these resources at home. We can also meet the unique needs of various initiatives with customized solutions.
Our primary goal is to increase access to high-quality early learning for low-income and other at-risk children in order to drive gains in early language, literacy, and math skills. We monitor usage, assessment data, and survey data to measure each project’s impact on learning gains.
